Ever since Vismitha recommended this bakery in Indiranagar, I’ve been eager to try their creations. On my first visit, I was torn between bananoffee pie and Mississippi mud pie (Rs 150), but chocolate trumped all. On a butter cookie crust was chocolate crumbs with rich gooey chocolate, topped off with a dusting of chocolate powder. I suggest you share this with someone, this is way too decadent to be eaten alone. Best had with a dollop of vanilla icecream, and eaten from crust to tip.
It’s a pricey dessert; honestly, everything at Spoonful of Sugar costs at least double of anything at other bakeries. This place won’t become a regular for me like Chef Bakers or Just Bake, but for a once-in-a-while treat, it’s perfect.
