Patricia Tanumihardja (that’s a difficult name!) is a freelance food writer and photographer, and author of ‘The Asian Grandmother’s Cookbook‘. Her blog developed as she gathered stories and recipes for the book, and is filled with an eclectic collection of recipes, from bibimbap to sambal, congee to pumpkin cake. I am especially eager to try out her recipe for sardine puffs and tea-cured salmon, though the latter sounds like a lot of work
Patricia’s travels around the world and her multicultural heritage inform her writing, and her posts are sprinkled as much with little vignettes about her childhood as they are with cooking tips. Her blog is a recent discovery for me, yet one I return to often, especially when I’m in the mood for a little sweet n sour something.
